Mike, a traditional and experienced Woodworker, uses the wood that he has available, our range of pieces could be beautiful spalted oak; bright white sycamore; rich beech or birch!

Foraging for wood from streets and parks in London, Mike began woodworking while doing his MA in Anthropology at University College London.

Mike has been woodworking for 5 years now and all his research focuses on the role of technology in heritage craft.

Every piece Mike makes is unique in its own right, never to be identically replicated again – there is something in this that offers both Mike and us at Thyme great joy!
